TSAVO – 3 DAYS & 2 NIGHTS SAFARI

SAFARI DESCRIPTION

Tsavo is Kenya’s largest and one of its oldest national parks, sprawling across more than 22,000 sq km and divided into two vast sections, Tsavo East and Tsavo West. This iconic wilderness is a paradise for wildlife lovers, photography enthusiasts, and anyone seeking an authentic, untamed African safari experience. The land is raw, dramatic, and rich in stories from the legendary “Man Eaters of Tsavo” lions to ancient lava flows and oasis like springs tucked in the semi arid savannah. Tsavo East, with its wide open plains and red dust elephants, offers classic safari imagery and incredible game viewing experiences. It’s known for large herds of elephants, big cats, buffalo and the Galana River which cuts through the dry lands, drawing animals to its water. Tsavo West is greener, rockier, and more dramatic in terrain. It boasts beautiful landscapes such as Mzima Springs, where you can see hippos and crocodiles through underwater viewing chamber and the eerie Shetani Lava Flows. Because of its massive size and low tourist traffic, Tsavo feels more remote and wild compared to parks like Maasai Mara or Nakuru. The sense of space, silence and scale is unmatched. Whether you’re gazing across the plains at sunrise or tracking elephant herds by the Galana River, Tsavo offers an unforgettable connection to nature in its purest form.
