DAY ITINERARY

Day 1; Nairobi to Lake Naivasha
0800hrs, your journey to Naivasha begins early to maximize your time exploring the area. The drive takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes, offering scenic views of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, check into your hotel or lodge at 1000hrs. After settling in, take some time to refresh before heading out. At 1130hrs, head to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride. The lake is home to a rich variety of bird species, such as kingfishers, fish eagles and cormorants. You’ll also spot hippos lounging in the water. The boat guide will take you take you to Cresent island, where you can observe wildlife such as zebras, giraffes and antelopes. Head back to the hotel at 1300hrs for lunch. After lunch, set out to visit Hell’s Gate National Park at 1400hrs for an afternoon of adventure. This park is famous for its dramatic landscapes, cliffs, and gorges. At about 1830hrs, return to your lodge for sundowners while enjoying the serene atmosphere of Naivasha.

Day 2; Lake Naivasha To Lake Nakuru

0700hrs, start your day with an early breakfast before checking out of your hotel. Please settle any incidental accounts during this time. At about 0830hrs, drive to Nakuru, the drive takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. Enroute, you’ll pass lush farmland and small towns, giving you a glimpse of rural life. At about 1000hrs, arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll head directly into the park for your morning game drive. The park is known for its flamingo population, though the numbers vary depending on the water level. Keep an eye out for other wildlife, including rhinos, buffalos, waterbucks and lions. At about 1300hrs, enjoy picnic lunch at one of the designated spots by the lake. Continue the Game Drive at about 1400hrs, exploring the park, heading to Baboon Cliff for panoramic views of the lake and its surrounding landscapes. At 1700hrs, check in at a lodge in Nakuru after an exhilarating day in the park and settle in, relax and enjoy some downtime. 1830hrs, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3; Back To Nairobi

0700hrs, have an early breakfast and check out of your hotel and prepare for your return journey. At about 0800hrs, you can take a detour to the Menengai Crater, one of the largest volcanic craters in the world. A short hike to the rim offers incredible views of the crater floor and the surrounding Rift Valley. At 1000hrs, start the drive back to Nairobi, which will take about 2 hours and 30 minutes depending on the traffic. At about 1300hrs, arrive in Nairobi and drop off at the hotel or residences.
