Summary Itinerary 

Day 1; Departure from Nairobi to Mombasa

0700hrs, arrive at the Nairobi SGR station for check-in. Ensure you have your tickets ready and proceed through the security. Board the train, 10 minutes before departure.At 0800hrs, the train departs to Mombasa. Settle into your seats and enjoy the scenic views of the Kenyan countryside as you travel to Mombasa. Arrive in Mombasa Terminus at 1400hrs and meet your guide or transfer service for a short drive to your hotel. 1430hrs, check in at your choosen hotel and enjoy a beachfront late lunch at your hotel. At around 1500hrs, after having lunch, have an afternoon at leisure and relax at the beach by taking part in beach activities like beach volleyball, sunbathe or have an afternoon swim. At 1900hrs, have dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2; Explore Mombasa’s Historical Sites

At 0700hrs, fuel up with a hearty breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, depart for Fort Jesus, a UNESCO world Heritage Site. Explore this historic fort, learning about its rich history and significance in trade. Proceed for a tour in Mombasa Old Town at 1100hrs and stroll through the narrow streets of Mombasa’s Old Town. Discover the Swahili architecture, and vibrant markets. You can decide to visit local shops for Souvenirs while at it. Head back to the hotel at 1300hrs and have lunch. After lunch, have the rest of the afternoon at leisure, At 1900hrs have dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3; Day Trip to Shimba Hills National Reserve

0630hrs, have an early breakfast at the hotel and depart for shimba hills after breakfast. It is approximately a 45 minutes drive from Mombasa. Upon arrival,embark on a guided nature walk. Look out for unique wildlife, including the endangered Sitatunga antelope. At 1200hrs, enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic spot within the reserve. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive at 1300hrs, exploring the reserve’s diverse ecosystems and enjoying the breathtaking views. Depart Shimba hills and head back to Mombasa to your hotel. At 1900hrs, relax and have dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4; Beach Day and Water Sports

0800hrs, stary your day with breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, proceed to the beach for a variety of water sports. Options include snorkeling, jet skiing, or a glass-bottom boat ride. Head back to the hotel at 1230hrs and have lunch. At 1400hrs, spend the afternoon soaking up the sun, swimming by the pool or enjoy a spa treatment massage. At 1900hrs, have dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5; Visit to the Haller Park and Mombasa Marine Park

0730hrs, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and depart for Haller Park at 0900hrs. Explore the park’s lush landscapes, home to various animals and plants. Take a guided tour to learn about conservation efforts. Head back to the hotel after the tour and have lunch at 1200hrs. After lunch, head to Mombasa Marine Park for an afternoon of snorkelling. Discover vibrant coral reefs and marine life. Return back to the hotel at 1600hrs to unwind and at 1900hrs, have dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6; Return to Nairobi

0600hrs, have breakfast and check out of the hotel. Please settle any incidental accounts during this time. At 0630hrs, travel to Mombasa Terminus in Miritini for your return journey. Arrive at the terminus at 0700hrs for several security checks and board the train 10 minutes before departure preparing for your return to Nairobi. At exactly, 0800hrs, the train departs Mombasa for Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi Terminus at 1400hrs and drop off at your hotel or residence.
