Day 1: Departure from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

0630hrs – Drive from Nairobi to Amboseli: Embark on your road trip to Amboseli National Park, located about 230 kilometers from Nairobi (approximately 4-5 hours). Enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley along the way.

1200hrs -Arrival and Check-In at Hotel: Check-in at your hotel or lodge in Amboseli. Relax and freshen up after the long drive.

1300hrs – Lunch at the Hotel: Enjoy a local and international buffet lunch at the hotel. You might get a view of wildlife from the dining area depending on your hotel.

1400hrs – Afternoon Game Drive: Head back into the park for an afternoon safari, focusing on areas with water sources where animals gather, especially during the hotter parts of the day. This drive gives you a chance to spot lions, cheetahs, and buffaloes, as well as observe the various bird species around the swampy areas.

1600hrs – Return to Lodge and Sunset View: Return to the lodge by 16:00. Relax and unwind as the sun sets. You can enjoy a sundowner drink on the terrace or at the pool while watching the vibrant African sunset.

1900hrs  – Dinner: Dinner at your accommodation will be served either in a traditional dining area or under the stars, depending on your lodge’s offering. Spend time enjoying a delicious meal while listening to the sounds of the African wilderness.

21:00hrs– Overnight Rest: Head to your room for a restful night, ready for more adventures the next day.

Day 2: Full Day Safari Experience

0600hrs – Early Morning Tea/Coffee & Snack: Enjoy a light snack and hot drink to energize you for an early start.

0630hrs – Morning Game Drive: Embark on a full morning game drive. The early morning hours are prime time for wildlife viewing, with cooler temperatures and more activity. Look out for elephants, lions, cheetahs, and buffaloes as they are often spotted early in the day. Enjoy the picturesque sunrise with Mount Kilimanjaro providing a stunning backdrop.

0930hrs – Return to Hotel & Brunch: Return to the hotel and have a relaxing brunch with fresh fruit, eggs, and other delicious options.

1100hrs – Relaxation Time at Hotel: Spend the afternoon at leisure. You can enjoy the hotel’s facilities (pool, spa, etc.) or take a short nature walk. If the hotel offers optional activities like Maasai cultural experiences, you may choose to participate.

1400hrs – Afternoon Game Drive: Head back to Amboseli National Park for another exciting game drive. This is the time when many predators are more visible, so be on the lookout for lions, hyenas, and cheetahs, particularly near the swamps and waterholes. Continue to admire the wildlife and capture stunning photos.

16:30hrs – Return to Hotel & Relaxation: Return to your hotel to unwind after your safari drive. You may choose to relax in the lounge or enjoy a cocktail while watching the sun set over Amboseli.

1900hrs – Dinner: Enjoy a relaxing dinner at your hotel, savoring both local and international cuisines.

2000hrs – Evening Relaxation: You can enjoy your evening at leisure, perhaps watching a documentary or presentation about Amboseli wildlife, or simply relaxing.

Day 3: Last Safari Morning and Return to Nairobi

0630hrs – Final Morning Game Drive: Enjoy one last game drive through Amboseli National Park. Focus on capturing any wildlife you haven’t seen yet, and enjoy the peaceful morning before the park gets busier. Be sure to get one last look at the elephants and the breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro.

0930hrs -Return to Hotel & Breakfast: Return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast.

1100hrs – Check Out and Drive Back to Nairobi: After breakfast, check-out from your accommodation and begin your journey back to Nairobi.

1200hrs – Drive Back to Nairobi: Enjoy the scenic drive back to Nairobi, reflecting on your safari adventure. Arrive in Nairobi by mid-afternoon.

1630hrs – Arrival in Nairobi: Arrive in Nairobi and proceed to your desired destination marking the end of your trip.
