SUMMARY ITINERARY
Day 1: Departure
0700hrs – Arrive in SGR station in Syokimau for several security checks before boarding in the train 10 minutes before the departure time.
0800hrs – Depart from Nairobi SGR Station to Mombasa. At approximately 6 hours at 1400hrs, arrive in Miritini SGR station in Mombasa and meet the driver upon arrival who will transfer you to the hotel from the railway terminus.
1430hrs – Check in the hotel, refresh and proceed to have lunch at a nearby restaurant (at your own cost).
1530hrs – Proceed for a visit in Fort Jesus and view some of the historical structures that are still in existence since 1593 and later on proceed to explore some of the best highlights of Mombasa Old Town.
1730hrs – Proceed to have dinner at a local seafood restaurant (at your own cost).
2000hrs – Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: A day in Mombasa
0630hrs 0930hrs – Breakfast will be served at the hotel. After breakfast, you will depart to Mombasa National Marine Park and Reserve at 1000hrs and enjoy a Marine Park tour of the coral reefs. During that time, you will also get to have other activities like snorkeling, swimming and scuba diving if preferred.
1230hrs – Proceed to lunch at either the hotel or a restaurant of choice at own cost .
1400hrs – Proceed to Mombasa Go-Kart for a sports adventure. Upon arrival, you will check in and select karts. You will start with practice laps to familiarize with the tracks and karts before competing in several race heats.
1500hrs – Head back to the hotel and have an afternoon at leisure while enjoying the hotel facility like swimming or have a spa treatment at own cost.
1830hrs – Explore the night scene and enjoy dinner at a nearby beach bar or restaurant (at your own cost). At 2000hrs, head back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Depart for Nairobi
0630hrs to 0930hrs – Breakfast will be served at the hotel followed by team building activities.
1230hrs – Check out at the hotel. Please settle incidental accounts at this time. Head for Mombasa SGR terminus in Miritini and arrive at the station around 1400hrs. Check in for security checks and board the train 10 minutes before time.
1500hrs – Leave Mombasa for Nairobi with the Madaraka Express Train. At approximately 6 hours, arrive in Nairobi at 2000hrs and drop off at your residence.
