HALF – DAY TRIP TO NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK
Pick -Up
0730hrs – Your safari begins with a convenient pick up at CBD and meet your professional driver-guide who will brief you about the safari and what to expect during the game drive. Enjoy a short, scenic drive to Nairobi National Park, arriving at the main entrance gate.
Game Drive Begins
0800hrs – After clearing entry formalities, embark on a thrilling 5-hour game drive through the park. Your driver/guide will navigate you through different ecosystems within the park, including savannah plains, acacia woodlands, riverine areas and scattered bushlands.
Key Highlights of the Game Drive
- Wildlife Viewing
- Look out for iconic animals such as buffalo, zebras, giraffes, impalas, warthogs, and gazelles grazing on the open savannah.
- Spot the endangered black and white rhinos – a major highlight of Nairobi National Park
- With a little luck, you may catch a glimpse of predators such as lions, cheetahs, or leopards, particularly during the morning hours when they are more active.
- Bird Watching
- The park is home to over 400 bird species, including secretary birds, ostriches, herons and eagles. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy spotting a variety of species throughout the drive.
- Scenic Backdrop of the Nairobi Skyline

- Hippo Pools and River Trail

End of Game Drive
1100hrs – After an unforgettable safari experience, exit the park and begin the short drive to Nairobi. Drop off at your hotel, airport or preferred location, marking the end of your half-day adventure.
